Steve Linn Documentary Sculpture

This book is an excursion through the documentary sculpture of Steve Linn. The materials he uses are meant to express and enhance one’s attention to the subjects he chooses to depict. The works shown, date back to the 1970s and trace the development from pieces that combine wood with bronze through to his inclusion of glass in the 1980’s up to the present. A section of drawings at the end of the book will show how some of the pieces began.
