MyFace Book is the first part of Çiğdem y Mirol’s QUARTET. It opens with a letter sent by the beloved author who goes down many roads to find the beloved readers by exclaiming “Shall we reinvent love?” The book, starting with a naïve and thoughtful letter, goes through three twists that are named as “The Lost Author”, “The Effaced Notebook” and “The White Pencil”, all of which urges the book to take different directions, thus the book happens to be its own performance. MyFace Book closes with her “Bookperformance Manifesto” that sees bookperformance as another way of self-expression which looks like a snail talking through a clover in Mirol’s mind path.There is nothing to understand but to enjoy in all that!
