Arsalan is a prince who falls in love with the daughter of his nemesis, Sekandar, the Emperor of Farasang. Arsalan's father, the king of Anaran, was killed by Amroath, the notorious nephew of Sekandar. Arsalan's mother managed to escape and was rescued from an uninhibited planet by a traveling merchant. She was pregnant with Arsalan, which she later gave birth to in the grocer's house. Arsalan grew up without knowing his past.
