The Mani Jewel is part of Kunzang Odsal Palyul Changchub Choling (KPC), a Vajrayana Buddhist temple in the Nyingma tradition. Our spiritual director, Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo, was recognized and enthroned as a lineage holder by H.H. Penor Rinpoche, 11th throneholder of the Palyul Nyingma tradition in 1988. Even before her recognition, Jetsunma taught students from her mind in a way that westerners could relate to. She has continued to teach, and to invite many pristine Rinpoches in Buddhism to come to KPC and give empowerment and commentary to her students.
