Letters Concerning the English Nation is a series of essays written by Voltaire based on his experiences living in England (in exile from France) between 1722 and 1734. Instead of a typical travel writing collection, Voltaire has attempted to survey all of English politics, religious tolerance and culture and compares it to the French equivalent.
