Heisey Catalog and Price List No. 31 with Supplement
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
A. H. Heisey & Co. (1896-1957) was an innovator and leader in the glassmaking industry. In addition to introducing hundreds of new designs in glassware and numerous improvements to the glass production process, Heisey also pioneered new ways to market glassware. Heisey catalogs and price lists were periodically issued by the company to enable glassware buyers to order their products for retail sale. The documents provide detailed information about the available items in each pattern line, including pattern number, size, description, colors, decorations and wholesale pricing. Catalog and Price List No. 31 was issued in September 1950. A supplement was issued in December, 1951. It was the first time Heisey combined an illustrated catalog and a price list into one publication. It contains listings and illustrations for a variety of items in fourteen pattern lines such as Old Williamsburg, Old Sandwich, Saturn, Lariat and Plantation. Eleven blown stemware lines are featured, including New Era, Oxford and Coronation. Seven etchings, seventeen cuttings and a variety of miscellaneous items such as vases, candlesticks and bar ware are also featured. A listing Heisey representatives and detailed terms and conditions of sale are also included.
