A. M. Hilda Bryan-Seet started writing at age 73 as an outlet for her emotions upon unexpectedly entering widowhood. Hilda's Stories to Poems are authentic, heartfelt words that reflect her daily life as a nurse, wife, mother, and keen observer of nature and human relationships.
Born in Ireland, Hilda met her life partner Seng-Moh Seet while on nurse assignment in London. From there they moved to Seng-Moh's native Singapore and finally to Canada, raising their family in the picturesque lakeside town of Cobourg. Nature abounds in Hilda’s Ontario hometown and - along with her relationships with others - inspires her creativity. Stories to Poems shares a life fully lived with an appreciative yet unflinching eye.
