Africa Wins Again
Is a bunch of short stories and anecdotes about my life and experiences in East Africa during an amazing seven years in the 1980’s. This book includes many personal events and adventures, seen through the eyes of a young, naïve European. Such events don’t make the headlines, nor feature in movies. They are all true (mostly) and happened exactly the way I remember them.
Africa, with its diverse peoples, cultures and natural environment is a wonderful place and I hope I have accurately conveyed the sense that Africa beats to the sound of its own drum.
This book is focused on my time in Kenya where I lived, worked and traveled. It is the first of a planned series of three books. The second book is well in progress and includes short stories on my travels through fifteen other African countries.
This book includes colour photos.
