Fortune's Fate Act 1 : For Avolire (Edition 2)

Llyat Emgar, the seventeen-year-old runt of Maplehill, and Methladon Heyn, three years his elder and much more robust, find themselves thrust into a dark and treacherous world. Their once peaceful lives shattered, they bear witness to the destruction of their families by an evil that emerges under the cover of night. The wild lands, once serene and mysterious, now harbor a malevolence that threatens not only their existence but the very fabric of their world. As the moon wanes and shadows lengthen, a mysterious foe weaves its web across the land. Its motives remain obscure, yet its actions are unmistakably sinister. Could this adversary be linked to the serial killer wreaking havoc in the Capital? The city’s streets run red with blood, and fear grips the hearts of its inhabitants. The watchmen scramble to piece together the puzzle, desperate to apprehend the murderer before more lives are lost.
