She also says that "The men were definitely nicer back then." Second Sight was the first of her publications, though it came after Darcy and Elizabeth and the Vampire. You see, she didn't have a Lulu account, so every time she tried to publish it, it didn't work. So, when she did get an account, she published the other book first.
