Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The American Protestant mission to the Assyrians commenced in 1835 under the auspices of the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions. The mission to the Assyrians or the "Nestorian Mission", as it was originally called, had its headquarters in Urmia and was to last until the exodus of the Assyrians from their homelands in Persia and Turkey in 1918 during World War I. This book reproduces three publications of the American Mission press in Urmia. They are somewhat unique and certainly quite scarce. The first and third items are complete. Unfortunately the second item is missing two pages. 1. Sermon on the Death of Mr. Perkins by Deacon Yonan of Ada. 2. In Memory of Rev. Benjamin Woods Labaree: a Short History with Four of His Sermons. 3. In Memory of Dr. Joseph P. Cochran (1855-1905). (Note: These publications are in the Assyrian language.)
