The Crisis of Identity and Alienation among Muslim Youth in Great Britain

This book gives an insight into the identity struggle among Muslim youth in Great Britain to maintain an Islamic identity.It tries to look at the general British identity and compare it to the Islamic identity.Chapter one deals with the historical back ground of the Muslims in Britain. The second chapter looks at the issue of identity among the Muslim youth especially the second/third generation.In the third chapter, the author looks at the major causes of Muslim alienation in the U.K.Finally,the fourth chapter gives a solid conclusion and some recommendation to both the Muslim community and the general British society.
