Varnamālā means garland of syllables it is more than an 'alphabet' it is a collection of sounds that are carefully arranged in groups that come together to form words and sentences with meaning. It is the very language in which Krsna speaks to Arjuna on the battlefield. Therefore we should try as much as possible to understand this divine language.
