Extensive study of Koranic documents makes it evident that an ordinary reader undoubtedly faces a degree of difficulty in understanding the Koran. These problems are to be hopefully solved in all four volumes of this book, which is a follows the previous: “A Detailed Dictionary of the Holy Koran.” In this book, Koranic verses are represented in available Arabic typography and digitized by the author rather than using the handwritten Ottoman style. Definitions of terms are written in English instead of Arabic and are taken from the “Dictionary of Terms in the Holy Koran,” published by the Arabic Language Academy in Cairo (1953). Among the many available translations known for the high level of their faithfulness to the original text, that of Habib Shakir was selected for its simple style and the correct choice of its terms.
