If you remember Saturday Morning Television shows in the 1970’s, you probably remember the Live Quirky Anthology Series “The Krofft Supershow”! Western produced a 6 issue color comic series based on the Television Series featuring mainly photographic art taken directly from the TV show. Featured characters included “Bigfoot and Wildboy (Don’t ask); Kaptain Kool and the Kongs (a band made up of Cavemen (again, don’t ask); Magic Mongo; (a Genie found in a bottle) and Wonderbug (Barry, C.C., and Susan are three teenaged friends who fixed up an old dune buggy (which they dubbed "Schlepcar"). When they attach a magic horn to the car, Schlepcar comes to life as Wonderbug. Wonderbug could fly, and it helped the teens fight crime-HEY! IT WAS THE 1970’S!
