As seen above my name is Adam, to begin with being an Author for me was something that fully came out of left field - growing up I always knew that I had a very large imagination and that was never what held me back, what held me back from various ways of creating such as Art was largely my Dyspraxia and how it impacted me physically however that was not the only way it stood in the way.
The other element to it was that Dyspraxia like certain other neurodivergent conditions, prevented me for years from finding away to turn that imagination into something tangible, something physical until being Author came along. I am still at this stage, someone who is classed as a Young Adult but as that Young Adult I have so far had two books self-published and printed, the first of these Defenders of Aphalas-Liberation of Destinal was done whilst I was still in education and I was nominated for and awarded the Jack Petchey award for it.
I have many reasons why I do what I do and the genres I am focusing my work around are primarily ones that I have always held a massive interest in, personally I do not know which one will ultimately be the best suited for my writing style and the stories I want to tell but they all allow me to incorporate my interests and other passions into my work. I am also someone who deeply believes in people (not just young) following their passions as their careers, we live in a world that is filled with many great opportunities to forge your own way.
