Trees and Forests of North America: Volume 1

This book features photographs of more than 60 tree species in their natural environments. It also provides information about tree physiology, ecosystem functioning, diverse adaptations to environmental conditions by tree species, and geographical variations of forest composition. Photographs were selected and arranged to optimize the usefulness of this volume as a resource for field identification and as a study aid for students.
