In 1960 Leslie Lewis newly graduated science teacher was much in demand, but in debt and seeking the highest paying job he could get to pay off a then monumental $5,000 loan. He is offered an opportunity to teach in a private girls academy, but he must do it as a woman per their charter! They cannot find a female science teacher will he save their school? They will pay his loan and double the normal salary!
