Chris Archer, a disabled Army ranger leaves Walter Reed Hospital on a quest to locate his wife, an epidemiologist for the CDC. His quest leads him across country where he picks up a war dog, a young horse and a lively young bartender from the Neon Cowboy Roadhouse and heads north to the Selkirk Mountain Range in southern Canada where his wife, Jill may have the cure for the murderous pandemic that rages rages across the world.
