'Maa ngiy ci kawam!' is a beginner’s guide to the Wolof language. It teaches students the fundamentals of Wolof through grammatical lessons, dialogues, examples and written exercises. With this guide, students learn Wolof from the very beginning; no previous exposure to Wolof or African languages is necessary! This book covers a wide range of topics, including: the Wolof alphabet, the complete range of tenses, colloquial expressions, advanced grammatical rules and the Wolof noun class system. The lessons follow the Dial Method, an instructional system specially designed to teaching Wolof to foreign students.
