The stories of a little girl, then a teenager, and later, of an independent and free young woman against the backdrop of almost thirty years of history in the last century. A 'country girl' going through the difficulties of wanting to study, trying to create her own economic independence by working, and living alone in a booming city. In a society still subjugated by patriarchy, a victim of gender (and other) discrimination, the protagonist becomes both a model of life and of emancipation. May identifying with this young girl who knocked down walls of hostility by gaining the freedom to study, learn and live happily and fulfilled in the post-war years be an inspiration to the present and future generations.
