Green Manufacturing : A Helpful guide for your Factory

In the past couple of decades, there has been a significant decline in the care taken towards our environment. From David Attenborough to Elon Musk, influential people have raised awareness of the environmental impacts on our lives and the future. We’ve all heard about Donald Trump’s denial over global warming, but those in power are now promising to change. There have been several initiatives introduced by the UK Government to encourage a movement towards Green Manufacturing. These include an Innovate UK fund specific for ‘Green Innovations’ and the aim to eliminate sales on petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030. The 2021 Budget detailed plans to establish a UK infrastructure bank, supporting a ‘green industrial revolution’ by helping organisations to develop green projects. Despite these efforts, all industries need to work on becoming greener.
