The Novice Gardener's Year Book

This book has been produced to highlight to the reader, tasks for given times of the year, in various parts of the garden. For ease of reference the book has been laid out in six areas, each of which is further divided into months and weeks. The areas covered are; Propagation The Ornamental Garden The Vegetable Garden The Fruit Garden Growing under Glass Miscellaneous tasks. The book is not an 'in depth' information package on gardening, it is more like a calendar to remind the gardener when to carry out certain tasks. Put another way it is a summary of tasks that the writer has recorded in his diaries since 1986 which he thinks could be useful to inexperienced gardeners (novices).
