Seven Stars: The Cerridwen Expedition

The Cerridwen Expedition is the first book in the Seven Stars Saga. It follows the story of a nerdy teenage boy, the victim of bullies and teasing, who is taken to a world filled with all the magical stereotypes of his favourite books, games and movies. The boy is naïve, but he soon learns that things aren't as straight forward as his cliché fantasy endings; something ungodly is afoot, and it will take more than a few mortals to set it straight. Join him as he faces a myriad of mysteries, where nothing is as it would seem: terrifying monsters, shrines to the gods and even a sword in a stone. He competes with expeditions from across the globe, but the more he learns about his new world, the more he learns about his own limitations. From humble beginnings, he grows and grows, and might just be the one person the world so desperately needs, the hero.
