“I’m a librarian, not a psych major with a crazy obsession with Freud. If you are sad for losing the library, then definitely be sad. I love libraries, so it breaks my heart to hear when libraries are lost. Regarding the mother bit, I never knew my mother, and everyone has faults. Relationships are complicated, so I can’t judge. I do feel remorse when I hear of families that have broken down, though. It seems a shame when parents can’t make it work, but I blame the parents, not the children. It’s the parents that harbor unconditional love and protection for their children. If they don’t or can’t provide it, it’s their fault, not the child’s, and that is heartbreaking.”
