The Brixham Pirate and the Mermaid

The Brixham Pirate and the Mermaid tells the story of James Brooks, who by the age of eight is an accomplished sailor and fisherman. He unexpectedly finds himself at the Royal Navy college for officers, but his career is cut short. When he finds himself without money or prospects, he does the only thing he can think of, he becomes a Pirate.
