Chatroom to Bedroom is what happens when the lights turn off and the computer screens light up. Chicago, mid-90s. Prior to dating websites, chatrooms created a cult-like subculture with people spilling their inner-most thoughts, frustrations and desires to total strangers. Your stranger may be married, divorced, separated or a virgin. You just don’t know until you stop hiding behind the computer screen and brave a reality that isn't virtual nor real. But you don’t care. Because your own reality isn't satisfying you. And in the chatroom, you may just meet the perfect stranger, one that will lead you directly into the bedroom. Adara, in her mid-20s, watches her world fall apart and realizes she's completely unprepared to deal with the consequences of a false immigrant life. Not feeling at home with the foreign illusions, but not fully grasping the American dream, either, her path to independence only gets postponed as she runs from an extreme environment to a series of extreme companions.
