On Stand By

Sara Valdez, heartbroken and slowly turning sour in Osaka, Japan, packs up and decides to move back home. The only problem is that home has been her one-room apartment in Osaka for the past three years. Resolved in her decision, she makes the long trans-Pacific flight back to Toronto. As Sara navigates the city and her family she finds herself haunted by the life she left, perhaps too quickly. This story is about the heart finding its home.
