Chapter of the Artistic Prince

The third short story in the Sylcaan series tells of Yuldin. While reading a book in a castle garden, he feels unease and his city is soon attacked by King Cerode of Vellir's army. To survive, Yuldin halfheartedly vows to serve Cerode. On his way to the city Veils, he finds Karah, an enchantress who cannot sing but one note. Yuldin agreeing to teach Karah to sing might just be the first step to changing Sylcaan and angering the powerful sorcerer.
