Mea and the Sadon Stones: Book I

When 22-year-old Mea’s peaceful farm gets swept into the war against the Cerdic, she heads to the city to join the fight as a soldier. However, when the king discovers that Mea is the daughter of a powerful earth-magic doer, he sends her on the quest that her father died trying to complete: to seize the remaining pieces of an ancient elven weapon before the king of Cerdic does. Mea sets out with a hot-tempered female mercenary, a mysterious monk, and a womanizing but goodhearted Rylish prince; and to Mea's surprise, when they encounter enemy prince Elstan, he agrees to help her. As they press forward, the small party encounters talking wolves, elves, goblins, and even a sea monster. Yet in the midst of danger and adventure, Mea finds herself the object of affection for two very different princes, as well as the focus of a banished Ice Elf who wants the stones for his own vicious plans. Will Mea be able to find the stones in time? And could the love of two princes cause the greatest challenge of all?
