an eighteen year old girl named Alyssa, travels to Europe in the countryside of Ireland to stay at a lonely cathedral with a pastor named Peter Smith who is rarely seen and still grieves for his late wife. She meets some new people there, Maria a church volunteer and Barry a church gardener and Maria's fourteen year old tom-boy sister, Shannon who charms animals, and Pastor's Smith's twelve year old bedridden daughter who had never seen the wondrous of nature and never goes outdoors and believes she's ill and an invalid and that she will have diseases on her legs when she reaches adulthood or die. Alyssa finds a mysterious place in the cathedral outside grounds and notices no human being has been inside it. Shannon helps her take care of the mysterious place and it becomes like a whole living Paradise. Alyssa and Shannon agree to have Sara see the hidden Paradise. Sara starts standing and walking and getting healthier and meets her father face to face in the end.
