Brothers That Pray

Ayce is three years old and loves being a big brother to baby Amari. Even though Amari is still little at only one, Ayce likes to include him in their bedtime routine. After story time each night, Ayce gently takes Amari chubby hand in his. "It's time to talk to God," Ayce says. He remembers his prayers his mommy has been teaching him. Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray to the Lord my soul to keep. Then he pauses so Amari can giggle. Though Amari doesn't understand the words yet, he feels the love when Ayce holds his hand tight. Their bedtime prayers together are forming a bond between the brothers from an early age. With God's help, Ayce is learning to care for Amari each and every day.
