Cuban immigrants have kept their culture alive and intact through-out their years in Miami, FL. Their Cuban influence can be seen in subjects such as- music, art, food, recreation and politics.
This analysis was inspired by the Field Guide Miami class lead by Professor Elite Kedan. Analysis was completed in the summer of 2011 by students of the Florida International University. Production and editing of this book is credited to Jennifer Almonaci, Eder Boo and Amir Melloul.
Studies take place on Southwest 8th Street in Miami, otherwise known as Little Havana, between Southwest 12th and 17th Avenue.
