this book is a compilation of poems and stories written by the author as he wrestled with depression, humanity, poverty and faith. in many ways, it is dark, but for many of you, shimmers of hope will meet you in between the words as well. depression and doubt are commonplace in our lives, yet often in many circles they still come with large amounts of stigma and thus are preferred to be swept under the carpet. people from all walks of life struggle with it and all people experience hurt. this book was put together in the hope that others, who doubt, who get depressed, who wonder where is god in life, might be encouraged to know they are not alone.
