A short story based from a mini comic written and illustrated by the author, "Next Weekend" is a story of Krissi and Greg struggling to find meaning and belonging in their lives.
Krissi, a young woman trapped in an abusive relationship, discovers whether or not she has the strength within herself to leave and finally start living her life.
Greg, the young man who has loved Krissi since the moment he met her, hopes that he can help Krissi change her life around, while realizing that he is the love of her life.
Both must wait until next weekend.
