This book is a full history of L. H. Parke Company and is printed in color.. The company was formed in 1888 and by 1962 it had branches in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington DC, Richmond and Albany, New York. In August 1962 the Irwin family sold the company to Consolidated Foods of Chicago where it was merged into Monarch Insititutional Foods and Donald Irwin Jr. was the first president of the merged company. This book has a number of pictures of many early products and advertising items along with copies of various printed stories on the company from over the years.
