Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places

I come from a family that worships other idols. I had a messed up childhood. Growing up I looked for love in boys that just used me. Amongst being betrayed by those I loved the most. All in all my upbringing and choices led me into a marriage with a narcissist that took advantage of my love. However, what the enemy meant for bad God turned it around for my good because that relationship led me to my savior Jesus. Yes a broken heart brought me to my knees. Additionally, since I am the first Christian in my family, I've experienced extreme spiritual warfare due to witchcraft, santeria, voodoo, and other things. My journey has not been easy but it has all been worth it. The love I was looking for in the world I found in God and Jesus. They saved me from myself.
