Verses and Voices: A Journey Through English

Dr. G V S Ananta Lakshmi holds a Ph.D. Degree in American Literature. She is a seasoned teacher with 23 years of experience at UG and PG levels. Her areas of interest are communication skills, soft skills, American English, ELT, TESL, CALL, Teachers’ Education, and TBLL. She is well-versed in Interview Skills and Curriculum Design. She is an Expert in student language projects and guided 1000 projects to date. She has published 46 papers in various national and international conferences and reputed journals. She is a member of the “Katherine Anne Porter Society”, Maryland, U.S.A., IATEFL, and ELTAI. As the Chairman of the Board of Studies of the Department of English at Anurag University, Dr. Anantha Lakshmi has designed many courses. Her role in initiating new labs at Anurag is instrumental. She is a member of the Board of Studies in many other institutes. Received the prestigious “Women in Education” award from Dewang Mehta National Education, IPE, Hyderabad. She received a funded project worth 16.57 lakhs under the SPDC Scheme in April 2020. She is supervising the research work of two Ph.D. scholars at present.
