Serial and Parallel Number Factoring with Substitute Numbers is built upon a trivial theorem, but one that is a basis for factoring. Whether the advanced program, version 3, is efficient is unknown. The first version is written in both Python and C++, and the program factors small numbers. Versions 2 and 3 require large tables, but only a very small portion of the tables is needed for each number being factored. Eight programs for creating the tables are included. Publication would have been held back longer, but Quantum factoring is not far off.
