ByWilliam E. BartonAndrew J. Erickson
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
William E. Barton created the character Safed the Sage and his little parables in 1915. These short vignettes soon became a popular and widely-distributed regular feature of a number of periodicals, eventually reaching an audience of over three million readers.
A total of five volumes of the parables were published in book form. This is the first of the five collections, originally published in 1917 in a single printing of just a thousand copies and not previously republished in whole. (The text of this edition is identical in content to the original, aside from the correction of some obvious typographical errors.)
