Uldred, the Tainted Mind

Burning in the confines of his own madness, Uldred was removed as a threat to all things good two decades ago. Yet, despite this, as darkness claws away at the lands, Eatareld, Melfina and their companions are faced with a two-pronged attack to defend their home and discover the truth behind the once good wizard. Seeking answers, Eatareld leads his men across the lands, racing against time as agents of darkness play tricks on him and seek to break his will. Barely clinging to straws to stay sane, the paladin soon finds himself in places said to have been legend; only to discover just how frighteningly real they are. Fighting a desperate battle for survival, Melfina, Uldred's favoured niece, finds herself chasing and battling the demons of mankind; at times struggling to tell man from beast. As she finds herself questioning those around her, the maiden finds herself once again questioning if Uldred was ever at fault. Something she doubted even as a child.
