Does Selective Dry Cow Therapy Effect Somatic Cell Count Levels in Milk?

Research taken place to identify if selective dry cow therapy (SDCT) effects somatic cell count (SCC) levels in milk. This is an important issue as SDCT is going to become compulsory on Irish dairy farms in 2022 due to the implementation of new EU law. This research explores in detail all the various aspects of SDCT and whether it causes rise to SCC on farms where it is practiced.
