The Stolen Election: An Archibald Mercer Mystery

In 1824, the presidential election ended in controversy as Andrew Jackson, John Quincy Adams, William Crawford, and Henry Clay were unable to receive enough votes to be declared the winner. What followed was a controversial vote in the House of Representatives which led to the presidency of John Quincy Adams. However, when a letter reaches Archibald Mercer about a potential scandal involving the election, it is up to him to determine whether or not John Quincy Adams really did win the election or if he found a way to steal from Andrew Jackson.
