The Church of England, The Church of Rome, and the Englishmen Caught in Between.

This work questions the ways in which Englishmen in the Elizabethan period dealt with the extreme religious strife which occurred in the nation. It focused on the different ways in which Catholics dealt with an Anglican government, and how that government tried to at first wipe out, and later force conformity from the Catholic population.
