United Road Take Me Home

United Road Take Me Home follows Andy Botha's long journey from being an unfit, overweight and balding accountant to an overweight and balding accountant who can ride a bike for 2,000km in 12 days for charity. In achieving this feat Andy had to buy a bike, re-learn to ride it and spend a ridiculous amount of time riding round a very small isalnd in the Mediterranean. He also took his life in his hands by having to deal with crazy Maltese drivers and a crazed spouse who was unhappy at the lack of family life that ensued. To make it just a little bit harder on himself he also committed to write a blog recounting his struggles. This is the story of the final few weeks of training and of the Challenge itself - 2,000km between Venice and Old Trafford, Manchester, the Theatre of Dreams. If he can do it, anyone can!
