A body of a 23 year old female intern is found on the outskirts of the small Idaho town of Stanley. When FBI Homicide Investigator Martin Mulholland is sent to investigate, he knows it is merely a show of force for the press. But what he finds in the town will lead him into a dark family secret that has been hidden for many years, while his life and those around him are placed in danger by a professional hit man.
