Oceans of Love

Last summer my grandfather passed away, and I realized that I knew so little about him. When my grandmother told me that she discovered a box of old love letters that they had written to each other during WWII, I jumped at the opportunity to write their story. Oceans of Love is filled with romance, battles, and so much drama. I chose this title because my grandfather ended many of his letters with “Oceans of Love My Darling”. I told my grandmother that I understood why she fell in love with him. His letters pulsed with passion. My greatest hope is that this book will bring joy to my grandmother’s heart and in some small way bring her a sense of peace by knowing that my grandfather will not be forgotten.
