“Stars that Honor My Father’s America” tells the story of a man and his experiences in serving his country.
Josef has served the U.S. Intelligence Community for many years and has risked his life numerous times. He contemplates retirement to alleviate the pressure and responsibilities, but the Agencies are not ready to let him go. Instead they offer Josef promotions and privileges in exchange for his continued service.
Josef, however, has seen too much of the deception behind the Agencies. He is aware of Congress’ role and the Intelligence Communities’ role in the security of the United States, yet, he is also conscious of the blunders they commit. The lives of innocent people are at stake, but, they remain ignorant of what occurs beneath the façade of security. In this work, Josef details the things he observed throughout his service.
“Stars that Honor My Father’s America” might appeal to readers who are interested in stories of individuals who worked for national security.
