China Through Photographs: South and North West

This book exhibits hundreds of images from a trip-of-a-lifetime in China's West. The journey begins in the north, in the city of Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang province. It continues south through Xian, with a stop at the Army of Terracotta Warriors, and even further south into Sichuan, Guizhou and Kunming provinces. From the chaos of Chongqing city, the majestic pandas of Chengdu, the authenticity of Guiyang, to ancient Dali, Lijiang and the stunning Tiger Leaping Gorge. Everything from architecture, scenery, and tourist sites to food, people and shopping is displayed through hundreds of gorgeous photographs, captured on a basic point-and-shoot digital camera, just as you'd see them if you were walking around yourself - absolutely no editing, filters, special lenses.
