Molly's Vote

Eight-year old Molly walks into school one day wearing a fashionable new accessory that immediately has an impact on her schoolmates. Some follow the trend and are spotted with various colours of wristbands, attracting all sorts of attention. Others oppose the wearing of wristbands altogether! Eventually these wristbands cause a big stir, moving the entire school to the ballot boxes to settle the matter. “Molly's Vote“ is a microcosm of our social polity, reminding us of the influence and potential laden in the hands of our children. In turn, our children learn the power and implications of the democratic vote and respect for the opinions of others.
